About Us

My wife & I have been visiting the Upper Valley for nearly a decade before purchasing our townhouse in Quechee.  We probably looked at over 100 properties before settling on this place. It was the first place that felt like ‘home’ – and we hope it will feel the same for renters as well.  It’s a perfect set-up for 2 families with kids – with plenty of beds, and lots of play areas inside and out.  The Sugar Hill condos have their own tennis court & basketball hoop, and lots of grass to run / play / sled in winter.  We love every season there – Summer (golf, Lake Pinneo, Quechee Club pool, biking, hiking), Winter (sledding, skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing), Fall (foliage, biking, hiking), and even Spring (mud season – even if it is awfully messy!).  Our young kids especially love being in the outdoors, visiting farms / museums and just getting away…  There are some amazing restaurants – our favorites include Simon Pearce, Worthy Kitchen.

Check out our ever evolving list of our favorite things to do / places to see on Gogobot.

About Quechee Club

Our property is part of Quechee Lakes Landowners Association (QLLA or “Kwolla”), which automatically provides us (and renters!) access to the fabulous Quechee Club (1.5 miles, or 3 mins drive).  Renters get exclusive access to use all the amenities at the club (a reasonable daily fee required – $100 / wk for a family of 6 – please confirm with the club).  Not to mention pretty much every activity you can think of within a short drive.  We also love visiting nearby Woodstock or Hanover (home of Dartmouth College) for the shops and restaurants.  We always make sure to visit nearby King Arthur Flour and the Montshire Museum (biased, but better than Boston Children’s Museum in our opinion).
